Welcome to One Guy's Gear.
Over the years I've accumulated more gear than I need, quite honestly. But sharing thoughts and impressions about all The Stuff at least helps me rationalize to some extent.
I have a bit of firearms knowledge that comes from about seven years of shooting pistol, rifle, and shotgun. I don't know that much about knives except what I picked up from doing a few months of Sayoc Kali and carrying a pocket knife every day for the last five years. I've never been in the military (unfortunately), but I use as much MOLLE and mil-spec gear in everyday life as I can get away with.
In other words... I openly admit that I have no real expertise in any of these areas, simply a genuine enthusiasm for guns, gear, and disaster preparedness. In light of that, my intention is to not so much create another "Gear Review Blog", but simply to share honest, unbiased impressions on equipment and maybe share some personal experiences with the gear that fall outside of specs and measurements.
